About
What this is
A focused set of browser-side utilities. Two families:
Converters — Markdown to HTML, HTML to Markdown, Markdown to PDF.
Table tools — CSV to a Markdown table, Markdown table to CSV, Markdown table to HTML, HTML table to Markdown.
Text tools — Word counter.
The table tools exist because tables are where Markdown stops being convenient: pipes have to line up, a cell holding a comma needs quoting, and a separator row is easy to get wrong.
What it is not
- Not a document service. Nothing you paste or open is uploaded. The tools are plain JavaScript running in your tab, which is why they work with the network disconnected.
- Not a full publishing platform. There is no sign-in, no workspace, no sync. For heavy editing use a real editor; this site is for the one-off conversion or count.
How the tools are built
The converters use the standard open-source parsers (marked, Turndown, html2pdf.js), so output matches what the wider Markdown ecosystem produces. The table tools carry no library: a CSV field with an embedded comma or newline is exactly the case a naive split gets wrong, so the parser is written out and tested against those cases directly.
Editorial rule
Every claim about behaviour on a tool page describes what the code actually does. If a limit exists — for example, browser PDF export handles simple documents better than formula-heavy ones — it is stated on the page rather than hidden.
